A jig that is used to suspend products being transported by a conveyor. Usually, primary and secondary hangers are both referred to as "hangers". However, this term also occasionally refers to the hooked portion of an indexing hook.
The spacing interval between one hanger and the following hanger, in the direction of conveyor movement, when objects are being transported for coating.
The hanger pitch is determined by the size of the object to be coated, as well as by the vertical curve, horizontal curve and angle of the conveyor.
